“Laguna Fencing Center (LFC) provides great fencing instruction and a fun physical workout in an organized, family friendly environment.  My daughter loves the challenge of this fast moving sport and has made new friends both locally and all over the coast as she has been able to participate in the local and national competitions.

Coach Nick's obvious love for kids and for fencing shows through whether he is teaching a new student basic footwork or perfecting the form of an advanced practitioner.  Elena runs the office with efficiency which makes LFC a very parent friendly and kid friendly place.

We enjoy the camaraderie of fencing and my daughter looks forward to her fencing time more than any other activity she has participated in.  We look forward to being part of this new family for years to come.”

“In August 2008, we were fortunate to find Laguna Fencing Center and Coach Nick Dinu.  My 9 year old daughter has never liked any sport or dance class she has taken in the past.  She asked if she could try fencing, and I figured she would do it a few times and be sick of it like everything else she has tried.  She loved fencing after her trial lesson and immediately wanted to begin lessons.  In these last eight months, she has enjoyed every minute of fencing and would fence every day if possible.  She has progressed to the point of winning medals in regional youth competitions, which was far beyond our expectations!   Her younger brother has begun fencing recently, and he also looks forward to every moment he can fence. 

Coach Nick is fantastic with the kids, and he and Elena run the business very well.  Everything is very organized, which all of us parents appreciate very much!  There are so many nice children and families involved with Laguna Fencing Center.  We have made some wonderful friends which makes going to the fencing lessons and tournaments even more enjoyable. We happily have become a fencing family!”

"In August 2008, my 9 year old daughter took a free class at the Laguna Fencing Center. Our life has never been the same since. My daughter fell in love with fencing and wants to be at the center every day. I myself am very satisfied with the service and Coach Nick works great with kids.
