Continuing Our Tradition of Excellence with World-Class Guidance
Laguna Fencing Center is proud to announce the addition of Tiberiu Dolniceanu, World Champion and Olympic medalist, to our coaching team. This move underscores our ongoing commitment to bringing the highest level of expertise and experience to our athletes, continuing our tradition of excellence in fencing.
Tiberiu Dolniceanu’s extensive fencing resume includes winning 2009 World Championships team gold, 2012 Olympic team silver, 2013 European Championship individual gold, 2015 Grand Prix gold, 2013 World Championships individual bronze. Additionally, he has claimed multiple medals at World Cup and Grand Prix events, showcasing his consistent excellence and competitiveness on the international stage.
Since retiring from competitive fencing, he has been the national coach of the Romanian women sabre team.
By welcoming Coach Tibi to our coaching staff, we further enhance our commitment to providing top-notch fencing training and development opportunities for our fencers. His approach to coaching, informed by years of competitive success, will offer our athletes unique insights and strategies to improve their performance and achieve their goals.
