First Fencing Competition To-Do List

Preparation is essential for a stress free competition.

Make sure all your equipment is in working order. Older electric jackets, masks and gloves with sweat stains, rips and other signs of wear will not pass equipment testing.

If you only have the equipment needed to “fence electric” in class, be aware that you will also need some additional equipment items for competition. Give us a few days to order what you need.

USA Fencing Competitive memberships are required to compete in any USA Fencing sanctioned event (exception are Access members. They can compete in local tournament without upgrading.)

FRED is a self-serve service for fencing clubs and fencers to coordinate participation in local tournaments.
