We are waiting for you in Chianciano Terme in the heart of Italy, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan hills declared a UNESCO heritage site, for the International Sabre Camp 2024 from 31 July to 9 August, a vacation dedicated to a high level fencing preparation.
International experience, meeting and fencing athletes from different countries, is crucial for a fencer’s success.
Considering the large number of nationalities and the significant presence of esteemed coaches, our sleep-away summer camp offers a diverse experience with various fencing schools from around the world. This diversity is showcased through different training methods in group sessions, individual meetings, and direct bouts that participants will engage in during the camp. Additionally, the camp has a strong social component, providing athletes with the opportunity to interact with peers from across the globe.

| Physical Preparation and Saber Fencing Footwork | The program will contain specific physical preparation and saber fencing footwork, components led by each of the invited coaches and bouts. |
| Training | Includes training sessions and competition entry. |
| Competition | We will organize a competition for all participants, by age category. |
| Evening Activities | In the free time between classes or in the evening after dinner, meetings are held in hotel lobbies where the athletes play chess and table tennis, read books, etc. |
| Accommodation | The teams will be accommodated in several hotels in Chianciano Terme, within walking distance to the fencing hall, staying in 3-Stars Hotels. |
| Supervision | Each coach will supervise and take care of his own team. Athletes who come to the camp without coaches or parents will be under the supervision of the manager. |
| Medical Assistance | A medical assistant will be present in the camp, 24 hours/day. |
| Fencing Hall Equipment | The fencing hall is equipped with top fencing equipment, provided by Federscherma. |
| Meals | 3 meals/day (highly appreciated menu in the past): breakfast, lunch, and dinner. |
| Facilities | Access to 2 outdoor swimming pools. |

| Personal Equipment Requirement | Athletes must have competitive fencing equipment according to the FIE rules: Fencing Jacket 800N, Pants 800N, Underarm protector 800N, Saber fencing Mask 1600N, Saber fencing Glove 800N. |
